Joyce Munn, DDS
Meet Dr. Munn
Dr Munn grew up in Massachusetts and is a second generation dentist. She grew up watching her father teach in academia and work as a Prosthodontist in private practice. Watching him create beautiful smiles through detailed care for patients inspired her to become a dentist and provide the same thoughtful, attentive, and quality care to her own patients.
She attended University of Europa Madrid where she earned her Bachelors in Dentistry in 2016. After earning her dental degree in Europe and becoming fluent in Spanish, she returned to Boston to pursue her interest in Endodontics at Boston University Henry R. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. There she earned her Certificate in Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS) in Endodontics. During her residency, she was trained to treat complex root canals with the use of cone beam technology and microscope. She successfully treated patients at both the dental school and Boston University faculty practice.
Recently, Dr Munn trained at University of Detroit Mercy where she received her DDS degree and also worked as adjunct instructor where she taught and lectured pre-doctorate Endodontics. She was humbled to receive the Faculty Appreciation Award by the Student Government Association in her first year of teaching. Dr Munn is board eligible. She is a member of the American Association of Endodontists and NC Dental Society.
When Dr. Munn is not at the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and trying new restaurants.
