Meet Dr. Dinsbach

Dr Nathan Dinsbach

Dr. Dinsbach grew up in Southern California and moved to North Carolina in 2018. He and his family love the rain, the green, and the seasons we experience here. He has yet to decide if he prefers Duke “Prussian” blue or UNC “Carolina” blue, but for the right price (a walnut chocolate chip cookie or a Mounds bar), he could easily be persuaded to wave the flag of your choice.

Dr. Dinsbach graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry at the top of his class. Some of his passions in dental school and life are teaching and education. While a student in dental school, he would routinely lead study sessions of 30 or more classmates to help the group as a whole succeed. He continues with that same devotion today as he lectures to dentists at local, state, and national meetings and routinely contributes a column on Endodontics to General Dentistry, the peer-reviewed publication of the Academy of General Dentistry.

Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Dinsbach served as a dentist in the United States Air Force. He and his family consider it a privilege to have served our country and the men and women who protect our freedoms. While in the Air Force he attended a 12-month Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency to gain further experience in all branches of dentistry. After serving, Dr. Dinsbach returned to Loma Linda University as a full-time educator. While there he also practiced in the University’s Dental Faculty Practice. During this time, he achieved the distinction of Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, reflecting a commitment to extensive continuing education. After 5 years of teaching, Dr. Dinsbach decided to return to school (with 3 kids!) for specialty training in the field of Endodontics. He was accepted to the prestigious residency program at Loma Linda University and now he happily spends his days saving teeth and relieving pain associated with dental infections.

Dr. Dinsbach’s personal mission statement is short and sweet – “I strive to treat everyone the same way I would treat my mother.”  In their free time, the Dinsbach’s love traveling to see the history of our great nation. They also love to experience new foods. A fun night at home is everyone in the kitchen cooking… and then enjoying their creations!
