Planmeca ProMax 3D Max
The Planmeca system gives our practice state-of-the-art technology to help Dr. Haglund and Bell diagnose potential issues more accurately and provide treatment with unprecedented confidence. Unlike a traditional spiral CT scanner, this 3D system utilizes cone beam CT technology and provides precise, crystal-clear digital images while minimizing your exposure to radiation.
Zeiss Operating Microscope
The clinical microscope is used to visualize the anatomy of your tooth. It has revolutionized the way endodontic care is delivered and improves the overall prognosis. Dr.Haglund will also utilize this technology to diagnose cracks or accessory canals not easily seen will traditional magnification.
Kodak Digital Intra-Oral Radiography
Digital x-rays have become an efficient and safe way to gain information about the health of your tooth. Kodak is at the cutting edge of x-ray resolution and will allow us to get accurate detail inherent within your tooth. We will take as few x-rays as necessary to accomplish the procedure.
Root ZX Electronic Apex Locator
This instrument will allow Dr. Haglund to find a precise and accurate length of your tooth. This will allow for optimal cleaning and shaping of the entire root canal system resulting in the best prognosis possible.
Nickle Titanium (NiTi) Rotary Instrumentation
Cleaning and shaping of the inner part of your tooth is paramount to achieving endodontic success. This technology improves the efficiency of the procedure while also allowing safe access to tooth curvatures and difficulties in tooth anatomy.
Ultrasonics
Ultrasonic instruments have become extremely useful in modern endodontics for their ability to create high frequency vibrations in tight locations. They are used to improve root canal disinfection, remove posts and separated instruments from the root canal system, and are helpful in locating hard-to-find canals.
